研究目的

本研究項目旨在以生成式人工智能和影像發聲法了解香港藥愛使用者的參與和持續藥愛的情況。

Aim

This project aims to explore the use of the GenAI photovoice approach to understand the reasons behind engagement and retention in chemsex.

研究設計

研究分為五部分：

1. 研究介紹 – 約45-60分鐘的網上會議，介紹研究目的和生成式人工智能使用
2. 圖像創造及敘述撰寫 – 您將會有兩星期時間自行創造圖像及撰寫敘述
3. 展覽前討論 – 約45-60分鐘的深度訪談，圍繞您所提供的圖像和敘述討論您的性行為、藥愛情況、使用心理健康和/或社會服務的情況，和相關看法
4. 展覽 – 您將和研究團隊一同揀選圖像和敘述以匿名方式於研究網站展覽並收集意見
5. 展覽後討論 – 約45-60分鐘的深度訪談，研究團隊會和您分享收集到的反應，並會邀請您分享您在此研究計劃的意見

Study Design

This study consists of 5 parts:

1. Introduction – Study objectives and technical details about the use of generative artificial intelligence will be covered in the 45-60 minutes virtual meeting
2. Image and narrative creation – You will be given 2 weeks for creating images and narratives
3. Pre-exhibition discussion – With your images and narratives, a 45-60 minutes in-depth interview will be conducted to discuss your sexual behaviours, chemsex engagement, use of mental health and/or social services, and related perceptions
4. Exhibition – Images and narratives will be selected by you and the Research Team for anonymous exhibition in a designated study website
5. Post-exhibition discussion – The Research Team will share with you the feedbacks collected and enquire about your opinions about this study in a 45-60 minutes in-depth interview

• 所有訪談不會提及個人可辨識資料，而內容會被錄音作逐字謄文作後續分析及刊登在學術期刊
• 研究結果包括謄文發表時並不會透露您的個人可識別資料
• 參加與否純屬您的個人意願
• 您可於任何時間退出本項研究
• 即使您不同意參與，或於其間退出，將不會影響您現時於診所或醫院的診治程序
• 完成後您將可獲港幣$400現金券以答謝您的參與

Anonymous and confidential

• This is an anonymous study
• Individual’s information would be treated in strictest confidence
• Personal identifiable information would not be mentioned during the interview, and the interview would be audio recorded for transcription for analyses and publications
• Study results and transcripts will be presented without disclosure of personal identifiable information
• Your participation is entirely voluntary
• You can quit this study whenever you wish
• Your access to clinical services would not be affected if you refuse to join the study, or request to withdraw after joining
• An incentive in the form of a HK$400 cash voucher would be given after completion

參加資格

參加者須：

1. 為十八歲或以上男性
2. 經常在港居住
3. 曾與男性在使用冰/G水的情況下發生性行為

Eligibility criteria

To join the study, you must:

1. be male aged 18 or above; and
2. normally reside in Hong Kong; and
3. have had chemfun (using meth/GHB for sex) with male in the past
